To all Austrians in this forum,
I have already spoken to Klaus from Upper Austria who is also a member of this forum and he was very helpful in this context.
However, I would like to reach out to other (potential) owners to learn more about this issue. Main question is whether it still works to import a newly build (in my case CAV) replica and to register it as historic car in
Austria. I know that this worked in the past but apparently authorities got very restrictive these days and even if one managed to get it through there might always be a risk of loosing the registration in case some knowledgable office picks gets notice of the case.
Please feel free to send my a PM in case you dont want to discuss this in public.
Thanks
Thomas
