Interesting how the car mag writers sometimes spend too much time refining their similies and metaphors at the expense of reporting accurate facts. Mr. Ramsey said the car has a steel body.

Well, he certainly wasn't clear. I suspect he's probably referring to the fact that the center of the car, to include the roof, is steel, which is how the original cars were built, but it's quite unusual for a replica. But I agree with you--if I didn't know any better, from reading his piece I'd assume the whole car was steel-bodied.

He did do a good job on his similies and metaphors, though. :laugh:
