In 1970 we saw the blue angels ( I was nine) courtesy of my mom's high school classmate and close friend Lt cmndr JD Davis who became a BA.

How cool at that age to be allowed to go out to the plane before the show, check it out ,then watch those f4 phantoms do their stuff- telling the other kids " we know number 6" Then to go to Pizza Hut with him in Blue angels uniform afterwards was something I'll never forget!

The pride you feel when you see that stuff in action really inspires.

There is a cool video done by Van Halen ( Dreams) that features the "Blues" Maybe someone can find it.

That's a nice one, but there is a better original version that's a little older.Instead of f18's it features the blue angels when they were flying a trainer type aircraft.It's the original MTV version.I haven't seen it in awhile.
