My wife likes to "help"....some. BUT putting in a front windshield isn't a almost right/close enough thing that can easly be done over. So I would let wiffie get us a beer and make some lunch but I would also get a tall strong compentent friend to help put in the windshield.
Be careful with sikaflex. If you use their product line make sure you use the fiberglass body windshield stuff. The stuff I used to bond on the centersection will NEVER come off without dammage to the firberglass.
