Hi everyone,
I have a problem and maybe someone here can help.
I have P2264, I have just under 10,000 miles on her and could not be happier.
That said, over the last month, I have had a problem with overheating.
My motor is a Roush 302 based 342R.
All last summer even on hot days here in California she ran cool, no problems!
Now I find that even on cool days the temp climbs steadally until it overheats. Oddly if I turn on the heater, even without the fan the temp drops almost immediately, quicker than the small heater core could do on its own.
I'm guessing that this may be a thermostat problem with the heater water somehow bypassing the thermostat?
Does anyone have any thoughts as it is getting warmer and leaving the heater on is problematic.
Thanks!!
