Although in his later incarnation as a housewife's ' crooner ',
i believe he had a much more credible vocation, as a proper
Rock Vocalist.
Indeed, his fellow group musicians included other contemporary Luminaries.
Vangelis of many Oscar winning film tracks , springs to mind.

These two epic songs are every bit as good as anything put out by the better known accepted western groups of the time.
Remember please, this 1971, by all accounts.
If you haven't heard this before, i hope you will be pleasantly surprised.

He was once a passenger from Heathrow to Kennedy, All I can say he was a precocious nasty piece of work. "Tell the Pilot I'm on board" he told the Cabin Chief. I sent a similar message back and kept the seat belts on for most of the trip and just when they went off and when he was queueing for the heads, the signs went back on again. He had a problem not only with his bladder but his mouth as well.
By the way, he was Egyptian.

is this the Obit forum? In that case, I would say that I was personally more affected by the news of the passing of Edgar Froese yesterday.....

Now, he was a true musical pioneer...
