Hi everyone,
Have loved cars since I was a kid. Always dreamed of having a Shelby Cobra, and fulfilled that dream by building a Factory Five Mark IV (Ford Coyote Crate Engine) 2 years ago with my Dad (which was really the best part of the dream, though the car is amazing to drive) With that done, I purchased an old '81 Jeep CJ7 to rebuild with my son (almost 14 and will begin driving with a permit early next year). With that pretty much out the door, I'm starting to look at what would be the next fun build, and a GT40 is really high on the list. I'm here to learn about others experience, and to figure out if there are strong options in the GT40 Kit market that I should be looking into. Sooooo... I definitely want input on what to look at, what to avoid, and any other thoughts and suggestions anyone cares to offer.
Looking forward to the conversation, and of course, getting to the point where I can start a new build!
