Ford Performance Crate Engine

Thanks to all for the responses. Based on comments here, I decided that I wanted an internally balanced motor so I ended up with a 363 from Prestige. It will also have 4-bolt mains. The block will most likely be from Dart since they just received a shipment. The heads will be ARP with an Elelbrock Victor Junior topped off with a 750 CFM Quick Fuel Q-series 4-barrel. It has a hydraulic roller camshaft which should be fine since the redline is 6,500. It has an advertised HP of 530, but more important to me is that it has tree stump pulling torque. The water pump, alternator and A/C bracket will come from CVF. I asked about using an electric water pump, but Prestige strongly recommended a belt driven pump for street use. I want to go with a Shorty water pump, but that will only work with a v-belt and I would prefer a serpentine belt so not sure about that yet. I am going to mate it up to a Quaife with a Safir clutch package. Cheers, Randy
