Fuel Hose

I am needing to connect a fuel hose to the tank so I can button up the firewall. Suggestions for fuel hose connection?

Do you mean what type of hose to use? Or, how to connect the hose?

If you mean what type of hose works well, Goodyear makes great fuel hose, resistant to ethanol, long lasting, heavy duty, FI pressures, etc.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I mean the fuel filler line. It reduces from 2.25" to 2". There have been various suggestions, but I wondered if anyone had specifics to suggest?

Your local auto parts carrys rubber fuel line filler hose. I get the one with the green stripe.

I'd just go visit my friend at the muffler shop, and have him swedge up a piece of pipe from 2-2.250. Then use the hose that fits.

If you want really good quality large-diameter fuel hose go to a good marine supply store. The marine standards for large diameter fuel hose are very high.

There are grades of silicone hose that can be used with petrol but they have to be the fluorosilicone lined version. Normal silicon hoses are petrol vapour resistant so if fitted high up near the neck they would do the job.
