Unused original-style and very rare FIA spec GT40 monocoque steel tub, glassfibre front bonnet, doors and windscreen. This is not a Sbarro replica, but is to original 1963/4 blue prints and has laid dormant in dry conditions for some time. There is no rust and could make a very nice original-style 1965 Ford GT40 MkI.
Also available under separate negotiation is a 1965 Ford 289 ci GT40/HiPo motor and correct ZF type-2 gearbox.
The tub is very rare in that it has a steel, not fibreglass, roof structure and is ready to be the basis for either a race or road GT40. I am asking £42,000 for the chassis and bodywork. although a part exchange would be considered. The motor and gearbox are extra.
