GT40s on the TV

Hi All

I'm trying to find a couple of programs that had GT40s in them but cant remember what they were. hoping someone out ther can remember what shows they were.

The first was a dream car build of a CAV that was built on the show then given away as a prize at the end of the program. Cant seem to find this one anywhere.

The other one featured several old vs new cars around a test track, something like top gear, or fifth gear. They tested an old GT40 against the new GT, an old rs2000 escort against the more modern cosworth, and I think an audi quattro against the modern audi TT. seem to remember the GT40 been the only one that beat its modern day equivalent

Dream Machines for the CAV build (Channel 5 from memory) (the competition cost me a fortune!)

top Gear for the compare job - that episode was on Dave last week and yes the GT40 was the only one that won against the new cars

Thanks Ian. That's a big help. Thought it might be Top gear but couldnt find the episode. Now I know where to look.

There were also 3 GT40s on an episode of Massive Speed, Sports Cars, which is periodically rebroadcast on Freeview Channel 19. They also showed the Slough FAV factory in its modern guise - with a GT40 in it.

There was also one with Tiff Needel? (ignore my spelling ) I believe an old Top gear video...
