Figured I'd register even though I'm likely years away from purchase. I like to research though lol!
The GT40 is one of three dream cars that I've always wanted. The other two are a 911 and a Vette. The realization that a GT40 could be had in the 75k-85k range is what lead me here. The hope, so my wife supposedly claims to support lol, is that I can get started on one of the 3 before I turn 46. So that's 4 years and month or so away. Give any of the three would not be a daily driver I'd prefer the classic, beautiful, and very unique look of the GT40.
I'm currently looking at CAV, RCR, and Tornado. I think SPF is well out of my range.
