Nice jack! I've got an old scissors jack my dad gave me that works well - at least 40 years old. But this thing is fantastic! Mine is old but still can slip in under 3.25" however the rust/brown color doesn't look as sexy!

I have not tried this yet, but I bet that if you had a brick and a wood 2 x 4 you could get under something strong enough and lift the front and maybe the back wheel high enough to get a real jack under the car in an emergency. Joe /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I forgot I have a scissors jack that is only 3" tall at its lowest position. It was made by a company called Metallifacture in England fourty years ago. It was used by Lotus (for the Elan) and Jaguar (for the E-type).
