LS7 engine problem

Have you looked at the plug from the affected cylinder? Does the ceramic cone look different from the other plugs. If it has a crystalline or grainy appearance(which would be different from the others), then I would suspect that the water got into the cylinder from the gasket leak. The problem is one that comes up with the alternative fuel guys trying to inject steam or fog from ultrasonic generators seen in fountain displays. When there is too much steam or water the exhaust temps will skyrocket, the expanding steam will lean out that cylinder, and all these together will melt the piston(s) and also the plugs. If you don't find any parts in the muffler or maybe just tiny parts(more like solder balls) in the oil pan, then I would say your problem was water!!!!
