Metalastik Suspension Bushes

I am looking to replace some of the suspension bushes on my Tornado. The car was originally built in the early 1990s. The specification has changed slightly and the style and size of the Metalastik bushes has altered.

Are there any Tornado owners (vehicle circa 1990s) who have replaced these style bushes as per the original specification?

Photos will be posted asap but the dimensions of the bush are :-

OUTER CASING

Outer Diameter........15/16"
Length....................1 3/8"

INNER (CRUSH) TUBE

Inner Diameter........7/16th
Length...................1 1/2"

Can anyone recommend a UK supplier and even a Part or Product Number from that supplier. Likely these bushes have other vehicle application and if that could be established tracking them down may be more simple!

There is regular discussion on the pros and cons of rubber and poly bushes and both options are being looked at.

I have purchased these type of bushes for other applications in the past from RS Components in the uk . rswww.com is the website. they certainly have rubber bushes like them but not sure of the sizes but may be worth a check.

The other supplier is www.antivibrationmethods.com a far bigger selection but you may need to purchase through a distributor .

I have never used this company directly so cannot offer any experience of them but seem to have a lot of info on there site.
