Caught laying an ambush in Iraq for a US convoy shortly to pass this point. It looks as if they are pacing out distances, but of course they could have just been innocently picking early morning asparagus.. :)

Distance 2.5 miles - guy with a weapon - Engage! :stunned:

I'm pretty sure it is a 40mm so that would make it an AC130 not Apache, but yes Apache cannon is 30mm.

I apologise to the victims of this strike if I caused any confusion for you...:)

Why did you delete that Bill? I've seen that before and always thought that a mortar round exploded in the barrel - "an own goal" so to speak. And you were saying it was actually blue on red?
