Cheers

OK Russ. I won't make this a competition. I recon NZ is pretty good too :) In fact this pic has been on my desktop for a while now. It's a snap-shot I took while in NZ a few months ago (just north of Queenstown on the west coast).

My country of origin (NZ) looks pretty good in Chris L's photo doesn't it? Of course the best people live in the South Island and the people get friendlier the further south you go. Hey Tim You need some babes on that beach of yours. I reckon the South Island of New Zealand has the best scenery in the world (yes I'm Biased) but Tassie is very nice.Paolo there must be nicer places to photograph in your country.

Couldn't resist it :

Pete the Aussie builder was going through a house he had
just built with the woman who owned it. She was telling him
what colour to paint each room.

They went into the first room and she said "I want this
room to be painted a light blue." The builder went to the
front door and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP!"

When he went back into the house, she told him that the
next room was to be bright red. The builder went to the
front door and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP!"

When he went back into the house, she told him that the
next room was to be tan. The builder went to the front door
and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP!"

When he came back, the woman was curious, so she asked "I
keep telling you colours, but you only yell out green to your workers.

Why is that?"
The builder said, "Oh don't worry about that, I've got a couple
of Kiwi's laying the turf out front."

Kind Regards,

Peter D. :) :)

ChrisL - I see you take crooked pictures like I do. I swear it's a sign of superior intelligence... :D

That's not a crooked picture. The Queenstown region is very popular with the downhill skiers and that lake has been deliberately tilted for water skiing in the summer ;)

Chris,

That's not the reason we tilted the lakes, although that is a bonus. The lakes were tilted to provide a better head for hydro generation.

Cheers

Going by the stunned silence following my sheep on the beach pic I assume I may have offended.
I hereby grant the right to one two-headed Tasmanian joke absolutely FREE to each New Zealander offended. :)

Tim,

The stunned silence was not that we were offended. We were gobsmacked by the photo of your "friends" and the realisation that that sort of thing obviously really goes on amongst our Aussie mates! We thought it was just an urban myth!

Cheers
