Pent roof valve covers

Noticed in a lot of historic pictures that the spark plug wire loom tab that is spot welded to the valve cover is not located in the middle of the cover but toward the cockpit. This would mean a left and right cover. Were these covers special for GT40s? All the current covers seem to have the tab located mid cover. Any info appreciated.

Well I think I answered my own question. Looks as if the covers used were, what is apparently called in the vernacular "baldy" covers. I had just assumed the tent roofs were used, like used on the FE's in Cobras.
