I "met" Chris a few years ago when he helped me bring some GT40 bits over from UK for my car; his was in Kerry Adams' shop in England having some work done after the Tour de France, which he'd run with it. Very nice fellow, and very helpful. Never met him in person, but we spoke on the phone and he was very knowledgeable and glad to assist.
1051 was worked on by Robert Ash, the typical incredibly accurate and painstaking kind of work he does. Same guy that's restoring 1040 to the same high standard.
