Seat Placement and Mounting Details

Thanks Chris,
All are good points. I have always looked at the heel a toe action and thought that I would never master it. Now I will have a proper car to give it a go and practice on. The best thing about the 40’s is that you are sitting very low and the seating position is very similar to sitting in a racing kart. After 14 years of kart racing that is a very comfortable position but we didn't need the heel and toe.
By the way I am sure that the foot muscle problem that you were having was all psychological. Ie. the brain trying to force the body to do something it knows it shouldn’t. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
