Shipping from UK to West coast USA

I am bringing over a KVA type c (registered as a 66gt).Does anyone have a suggestion on a price range for shipping ? I think the cheapest way is container freight ? Is there a drive on /drive off type shipment ?
Any help would be appreciated.

there are quite a few threads about it if you do a search, by clicking on the "search" link above and to the right.

use importing and shipping as key words to bring up about 15 threads.

This might be a good subject to add to the FAQ part of the site.

Frank Catt has a container going to the USA in January with a GT40 in it. It could be worth getting in touch with him and sharing the cost I understand that there is extra space in it for GT40 goodies.

Howard, the way to save some serious money is contact Dan White for the windshield. He has both types so most all car shapes are covered. The price is unbeatable and he is in Iowa so the shipping should not be that much. Check the for sale section and drop him a line.
