Apparently there was a math error on my shipping quote. Fortunately for me, it
turned out to be $1500 less than expected.
The actual total for truck and air freight together was $6300 USD.
I pick up my car from customs tomorrow at
noon. Unfortunately, the car incurred some
damage in transit. I have been told it is
not serious, but with the car being brand new, anything is serious. I would love to get my hands on the cargo gorilla who is responsible! I'd break his neck! I guess I will just have to wait until tomorrow to find out what "not serious" really means.
