Ernie, What do you guys use for the throttle body on a LS7 motor? Do you convert to a manual cable throttle body or keep the fly by wire?

thanks,

I will be running a modified LS-1 engine in my coupe. FBW throttle body and reporgrammed ECU. It will use the throttle actuator control module (TAC)
GM part number 12574221 (2000-2002 Caddy, GMC, Chevy 2wd truck applications).
this is a "plug-in" system. I'm convinced that this is far easier than running throttle a cable, and more "drivable". Your comments Fran?

Well it looks like we are going to try for another test sesion at Homestead International Speedway next Sat if we get everything done. If anyone is interested stop by to see us there.

We use the LS7 Throttle Body.

Video would be great! There are quite a few people (me included) who are dying to see that car at speed!

Looks like the rain might pass us by and let us have some fun. We have some big dollars locked in for the track session. We have been working on the car for another 7 days straight 12 hrs a day for this session.
