Specialty Vendors at WSCB May 18-21, 2006

Updated 01/04/2006 -
Here is the list of Specialty Vendors for WSCB 2006 (FULL, Can't add any more!)

If you are interested in meeting up in particular with any of the Specialty Vendors during WSCB, reply here. I'll forward replies to the vendor email list as we get closer to WSCB to let them know. Some are currently deciding on what to bring. Some are bringing 2-3 cars each for street and race. As many of you know and have worked with some of these people, this is a great variety and mix of brainpower and experience. There are a few others not listed here coming as attendees and bringing their own personal cars too. If you are buying, upgrading, racing, or just wanting to share your thoughts and needs about your Cobra, Daytona, or GT40, wait till you meet some of the people on the roster below. We can't be more pleased with the mix that came together so quickly. See the WSCB website for periodic updates under "Vendor Info". Some of them are bringing raffle items for attendees too.

See www.WesternStatesCobraBash.com for future updates on vendors. Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't think that is correct with it being the largest. When Virginia International Raceway (VIR) is run in the Grand configuration it is a 4.19 mile long lap. All the courses added up together at VIR are much longer than that, naturally, but you can get a 4.19 mile lap and it is fantastic. Right now it is, I believe, the largest road course in North America until the the one Steve mentions comes on line.

Besides length, there is a lot more to a track. Reno looks jamed up with a lot of technical sections and not a lot of sweeping turns and interesting transistions. IMHO. Still looks like it'd be a fun drive though!

I like that 3D view on the Miller complex, that is a cool idea!

Fernley Raceway is currently 4.3 miles long. They just added the new section. I'll post a picture link in the next reply.

You can't see it in the pictures but it has all sorts of up/down elevations too. Its a bit of work to get from start to finish.

We'll be breaking the WSCB Track Day up into two sections; upper section for Novice drivers and Lower section for Experienced drivers 1/2 day and then opening the whole track up in rotation between experienced and novice.

Sign up for WSCB and bring those GT40s out. I think we have 6 signed up already with a few Ford GTs before New Years and we have 5 months to go. Should be fun /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here is a picture link from the WSCB website and picture Gallery. This was right after they added the new sections to the track.
