Spf #2221

I don't remember when the change happened, but your car should have these passive fresh air pick ups that use the NACA opening in the front clip fenders. This is what they looked like before installation. This further limits the air from inside the bonnet.

Just wanted to update where things are at, my shortblock FINALLY came back from my machinist after far too many months, but at least it's here! Heads are supposed to follow in the next few weeks, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed on that. In the meantime I have all my small parts and induction sitting waiting patiently to be assembled, we'll have to see if I can keep my hands off it till it's time to put the heads on.....Here's a few pics of the short block to check out in the meantime.

Yes you are correct, that manifold is from Inglese, though in my case it is from whatever company is using that name now. Pierce manifolds also claims to have 10 degree FE manifolds as well, though I have not confirmed this.

Yep. Sorry, I thought it was a 302. I love the Weslake look with the angled manifold on a SBF. Thought someone was producing them.

Finally an update! It seems like this process has taken forever, but I'm finally close to having a running and driving car! Here's a few pics of the exhaust system, which I'm hoping will be done by friday!
