As the Surrey area Christmas meal takes place on the December club night i.e. Wednesday 14th December at the Jovial Sailor, the club night is officially canceled. However, those wishing to attend Silvermere that evening are, naturally, more than welcome to get themselves together. I shall inform the Silvermere staff there might not be any club goings on that evening. Also, importantly, for those 20 or so people who have indicated they wish to attend the Jovial Sailor on the 14th, please let Bev Gear have your choice of menu and pay the £199.99 up front to her, as the pub owners have stated they want payment before the function and no refund can be offered if the snow falls and it has to be canceled. "pays your money and makes your choice". Hope this offends no one and protects those willing to organise events from late member cancelations. Seasons Greetings.. Chairman Andrew.
