I was very keen on Obama- donated, campaigned, the works. I've been disappointed with him, although I'm disappointed in the performance of the entire government over the last eight years. I can think of ONE senator who I don't regard as a complete fuckup- and she's retiring.
I HOPE I don't have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary Clinton- she really makes me sick. I may abstain from a presidential election for the first time in my entire life.
Jim, sadly Australian politics are the same, no Statesmen just arseholes who will do or say anything to get your vote. And of course the minority's know that and use it much more effectively than the mainstream voter, of either persuaion.
