Well, yeah. Although I think Cuba proves it a lot better than PR or Greece. The problem is that everyone else running are a bunch of low-lifes.

Well, I dunno if I'd go quite that far re: the aforesaid, Doc. But, I hafta say, IN PRINCIPLE, I can't argue with ya as regards some of them.

Trump is a flash in the pan. When the going gets tough and he actually has to debate intelligently he'll quit.....and blame it on someone else.

Bernie does say what he means and means what he says. He's not dumb and he's not bought and paid for (like Clinton and many of the GOP). He's on a bit of a roll now speaking socialist ideals that sound attractive to many who are struggling. The problem is, there's not enough money on the planet to pay for half the programs he wants.

I agree on that. But Congress and the judiciary have a rather pronounced restraining effect on the Chief Executive, don't they? They would oppose much of a Sanders agenda, but some would get done.

Frankly, of all the people running, he's essentially the only one I have any respect for. (bad grammar, but you know what I mean) And as a Maryland resident AND Democrat I will point out that I can't stand O'Malley and that I voted for Hogan against that idiot Anthony Brown, the cretin.

Larry, I don't know when your birthday is, but I thought I'd give you an early b'day present, there. LOL

Well, depending on how you wanna look at it, you're either 6 weeks late or about 11 months early - but, thanks anyway, Doc! :quirk:
