who has experience with this block?

I'd like to know if anyone has experience with a 302 block;
C8FE-6015 B? according to the cast date and code, it was poured on april 25, 1968; and was made for the trans am program. at the time, it was the block for the short lived tunnel port 302. leftovers were put into earliest production boss 302's in 1969. supposedly it was a high nickel content block that could be overbored at least .100.
mine has C5FE-6329 A main caps from the 255 ford indy engine. it's also machined for cooper rings. it came from the gurney eagle indy program where it wore a dry sump pan with the indy style internal scavenge pumps. does anybody have any experience with this little guy?
thanks.

I don't know if this applies to your block, but someone told me that the most obvious difference between the standard and Trans Am blocks is that they didn't have holes drilled for the emissions hardware (air pump).
