Hey Ken! I did keep the PS pump as an idler, and I used the oem compressor bracket modified to fit the vintage ac unit. I'll try to dig up some pictures for you.

Here is a picture of a Pantera with a ZR1 engine. Check out his belt wrap. He completely eliminated the Power steering pump. The shorter belt to use is a 12PK1510. This is a 12 rib belt and must be converted to run on the 11 rib belt line by cutting off one rib. I think I might go in this direction.

Agree Ken...much cleaner that way. If I have any drama with my PS pump, I'll convert to that set up too.

Wondering if there's a better belt out there for the job though. Looks like he still had to use some big standoffs on the compressor to make it fit.
