For those folks that don't like the new forum features please keep in mind you can turn them ALL off. All of them. In fact, I can show you how to make your pages load faster than ever if you are concerned. Just follow these directions.

1. Login
2. Click "My Home" at the top of the page.
3. Look for the box titled "Main Configuration". Click on "Edit" beside the "Display preferences, number of shown threads, languages, colors..." line.
4. Now set some options. Select "Main Index" for where you want to login.
5. Set Sidebar Display to "Off".
6. Select "Default aged threads" to Active in Last Week.
7. Select Flat Display mode.
8. Select total posts per page to 15.
9. Turn off the preview screen.
10. Select "No" for Other User's pictures in profile and in posts. *Very Important*
11. Select "No" to view users' signatures.

That should help you a lot. Now, when you are looking at the main forum index mark it as a bookmark in your browser so you can bypass the new main page. Everything should be much smoother for you.

A job well done Ron, you are full of surprises. I thought I was in the wrong place for a while there. Looks very professional. It will be interesting to see if the changes will affect the traffic and the growth rate of the forum.
