This GT40 has been advertised in alot of pubications. I have discussed the sale of this car with the owner. He also at the time, had a very nice CSX Cobra for sale, and I think it is still available also.

The driving force behind this car is associated to the 40 sold at the auction in Arizona.

According to the owner/seller, since the car sold at auction brang a good selling price, the owner/seller now wants to duplicate the profit on this car. I think he will have it for a while, unless someone hits the lottery and falls into the "money is no object" class of folks. It is a nice unit, but what would prevent a potential buyer to place an order for the same unit with the factory? I can only think of a time issue.

Am I missing something here?

I have seen it for 82K "buy it now" before which is not too far off the 79K list.
