Rep Power: 57 | Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Ron, what throttle cable did you use and where is the source?
Added note: Pegasus makes them up with no trouble to whatever length you wish. I just did an order from them last week but forgot to spec a cable. If there is an off the shelf one that is simple I'd be happy to grab that, but the Pegasus ones are not overly expensive.

Rep Power: 18 | Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Ron and Bill. I haven't installed it yet but I got the cable from a V6 Pontiac Fiero. A very well respected Pantera vendor (one of the few who is out to help people instead of just making a buck) turned me on to it a few years ago for my Pantera. The length is perfect,it is amazingly smooth ,they snap ritght into a GM style bracket and you can get them very cheap!
I installed one on my Pantera years ago and it made an amazing difference.

Vaughn | From what I understand, the 4 cyl cable is something like 11" longer than the V6 cable(which is somewhere around 89" total length)

Rep Power: 18 | Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Lokar makes them in custom lengths, You might be able to give them a call and have them do it or ship out the ends and a length of the cables to suit your needs.
From their site at Lokar Performance Products Throttle Cables
How long are your throttle cables?
Lokar manufactures and stocks throttle cables in 24" and 36" lengths. Special lengths are available upon request in 12" increments. All throttle cables are u-cut-to-fit. HTH

P.S. Where is the picture of the burnout Ron

Rep Power: 18 | Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall The Ends are really the issue, not a problem getting suitable cable, likely could use bicycle brake stuff that can be had at a bike shop it is smooth, not sure of the temp capacity. I defintly would check your cable bracket end and see what it will need. CSI and Lokar both make some nice carb side throttle stuff. I like the CSI as it is very adjustable and looks nice, and doesn't sit on single manifold bolt like some.
