I suspect that solution is sitting more or less between them !!
Kind Regards,

| Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Here are a couple of pics of the plug that we use to make the battery cover that RCR has....
(a copy of this months Vintage Motorsports just to show the scale...)
This is a Mk1 cover as the Mk2 does not carry its battery in the engine bay..
The smaller pic below is used by a well known restoration shop for their original cars....

| Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Just to clarify...original Mk2's do not carry their battery in the engine bay...
We do however, have a provision for the battery in the engine bay of the RCR Mk2 should it be required.

Rep Power: 18 | Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Here is a few more. I found a set of original looking tail lights for it on Ebay.I need to rewire them though.
Also a shot of the re-engineered tail attachment/hinge mechanism.

| Re: RCR Chassis #14 Ron McCall Ron - Superb job all around...
Are you planning on installing a Wiper Motor? Which motor / arm are you planning on using. I noticed that the wiper arm boss is still in the original RHD location.
Thanks! |
