Replicas of Gurney-Westlake Valve Covers

Is anyone making replicas of Gurney-Westlake valve covers to fit a 302 with roller rockers?

Try one of our sponsers, Keith Kraft. His web site says that they can make custom valve covers.

Re: Replicas of Gurney-Westlake Valve Covers

Can someone post a picture of a GW valve cover? I did a search of both the forum and the Internet and came up empty.

Thanks

Re: Replicas of Gurney-Westlake Valve Covers

Hi Guys

If the demand is great I can get some more cast, the charge is £200 per set and I know the exchange rate with the $ has been bad recently it seems to be easing a little.

Regards

Chris Melia.

Here is the original post Bill, gurney weslake .I am not sure if they clear rollers or not, maybe someone that has them already can chime in, or Chris.

I have rollers under the above-mentioned rocker covers. The covers fitted with some machining.

Re: Replicas of Gurney-Westlake Valve Covers

I also have rollers/girdles and machined quite a bit out from the insides. I also linished and milled the externals.
Chris supplies these covers in the original sand cast finish for painting, as were the prototypes.
As sold, in my opinion they are of excellent quality for the money.
Nice job Chris.
