What Air Compressor?

I need a new smaller air compressor having sold my old SIP 150ltr earlier thsi year. I need something smaller.

Good old Machine Mart have sent me one of their VAT vouchers, so I was thinking about something like a Ranger 64 (here: Clarke Air Compressor - Ranger 64 - Machine Mart)

Any comments or other options? Thanks

Brett

Re: What Air Compressor?

Brett, did you get the above compressor in the end,... I ask, as I am thinking of getting a pneumatic riveter, can you recommend one? I do not have much panelling left to do, the footwell of the cabin and some pieces along the front behind the dash, my pop riveter is not great 3mm rivets are ok, but if I use 4mm, then you need pop-eye forearms and of course in the footwell of the cabin you end up struggling due to the poor access. k

Re: What Air Compressor?

Keith, yes I got the one in the link. It was on one of their VAT free offers. If you sign up to their newshots you should get them.

I also have one of their riveters here: Clarke Air Hydraulic Riveter - CAT73 - Machine Mart

I haven't got much more to do. When do you need it?

Re: What Air Compressor?

Hi Brett, I am in no mad rush, I am in Spain until sat evening. I prob won't get to look at the car until weekend after next. I have the steering to finish and the wiring,..... Prob look to finish panelling mid to late September at the absolute earliest. Are you looking to sell the riveter and compressor? K
