This a complete set of electrical schematics for the SPF GT40. Spyder Mike posted a set similar to this several months back. These are bigger and higher resolution. This may help non-SPF types also because the SPF cars (if you believe their promo literature) are built to original specs. Maybe yes, maybe no but these may help others with electrical routing issues. Note however there are a couple errors in the way the early (SPF) cars were actually wired. Details of these errors and the fixes are forth coming but it takes a fair amount of effort to get all this stuff posted. See the link below:
