I was there and it was another great event...the highlight for me was the 4 TBMs in the air at one time.

Chino was the first place I ever saw a B17. It was a static display, with a WWII airman giving tours for a few bucks donation. Is the old girl still there?

Yes they still have one outside, that one has been there for many years. But it seems to me I read that they recently got the Swamp Ghost, an early B17E that whent down in a secluded swamp in New Guinea back in 1942.

I think we should head down there next year....... road trip!

The one outside is being restored - to flying status I believe. It looks better than ever last time I went by it a few days ago. They have done a lot of work in the recent past.
