I came across this whilst browsing the other day on another forum :-

Chin and Safe. Safe is like you described; it's a goddamn free-for-all but still stays pretty safe somehow.

Chin is pretty well structured with classroom sessions. They mark the Novice cars with the "X" and the head instructor has to solo you out before you can drive alone. They even keep a file with notes about you as you work up to be released as solo.

I have been attending Chin events for 3 years, and they are one of my favorites. They tend to give more track time with smaller run groups than other organizations.

I'll probably come over for the June 1 event at RA, if you want to come out then and check it out. I'll probably be in the Corvette, I doubt the GT40 will be ready by then.

We can talk more about it when I come over next month...
