GT40 Body and engine

Hello, im 19 and live in chicago and i saw a red and clean GT40 abbandoned in a school lot stored behind a fence. i would like to get it, how much do u think it may cost? i will take pictures ASAP of it so if your interested i can see what i can do for u. If it's an original you're looking at well into six figures; if it's a replica you're looking somewhere at five figures. Unless, of course, the owner doesn't realize the value and you can make a lowball offer. Not enough information to give you a more precise estimate.

A red gt40 abbandoned in a scholl lot?
Seems to me it might be an Avenger or Valkyrie. Those kit cars resemble a gt40, specially for not too trained eyes.

pictures comming soon, and he said that its an original 1973, 1 out of 83 made and it was assembled here in chicago. All he told me that it had a 5.0L engine with independant suspention.

Original '73 Avenger, 5.0 liter Ford, maybe.

Original GT40, NO WAY! Not even close!

I am not sure but it seems to be a very very modified Ford Mustang (central body and scoop on the side)
It's a pity ... Original Mustang are so good ...
