CAV for sale

Salutations GT 40 lovers. This is my first post so i'll be brief. I found this CAV for sale at

The serial number is not the standard format for Monoque cars. Maybe it is a tube frame car.

Definitely not a monocoque - the battery's up front & there's an oil cooler or something where the battery box would be on a mono car. Battery cutoff switch is in a different location. Also, the shifter tunnel is different and there is no sign of the brake bias adjuster. I suppose some of these things could have been done by whoever finished it in the name of "improving" the design, but you can also see rivets in places where no monocoque would have them...

This car didn't make the ebay reserve (bid of $55k against $74k Buy It Now) but it's since been sold.
