Paint

I'm thinking of painting ghost stripes on my car, which is Guardsman blue, wide doubles front to back and Gt 40 along the sides, any comments? Wayne

Have you ever painted before? I have never painted a car before, but I have donw industrial painting before, so I will try my own. I spent a couple of hours at the DuPont automtive paint store here in Houston (called Finish Line) and talked with someone very knowledgeable. Way I figure it, if I screw it up, I'm only out a $500 or so. With the cost a cheap paint job at $5000, this seems like a worthwhile investment to me.

I have an old article on Shadow Flames that a guy did to his Cobra. Interesting article. Would sent it to any interested.

Bill, thanks, I would like to see that article. I don't have the skill or time to do my own painting, I would like other members opinion how the ghost stipes would look. I like the understated look. Wayne
