Hi,
I've bought a new unused Audi 01E 6 speed transaxle (code ARX) from someone who had given up on a project for what i think is a very good price. It came with no oil and the output flanges were stiff to turn (the box has been sitting around for a few years).
It is now filled with the correct oil and the output flanges are now easier to turn but are a little notchy. Is this notchiness expected from a new transaxle and will it free up after some running?
