oh - and the Lightweight Jaguar that was being tested by Jacky Oilvier on our Recent Club Track Day, was severely damaged at the hands of Dario Franchitti (spelling?) - fortunately he was ok...
As you can see I play at photography with a small Olympus !
The Ford is #105 now back in shark nose form.
The weekend is a tribute to Phil Hill. This is a shot of which I am proud.
He led the parade of all his old cars driven by his son Derek in the ralph Lauren owned Alfa8C 2900B MM.
His Lordship is in the Jim Hall owned Chaparral 2F also in the parade
Thanks for the photo's Paul, I especially liked the Magnette. That one is owned and driven by a chap called Bruce Chapman, grandson of Nancy Mitchell the famous lady rally driver of Magnette's in the 50's.
The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy saw Wayne Gardner win by a convincing lead - especially as it was wet!! - (how the hell to they stay on?) + a couple of 'course car' shots for good measure.
I like the Cobra close-up at speed - makes a good poster as the original is 3072x2048. In fact, I'll provide a link to all the full size images if anyone wants to download them to print themselves. Will take a while as most are 2-3MB in size so let me know if interested.
