How are you making out with warpage? If there's any. Personally I would've completed the whole frame and tac welded it all together before the final welding. It would've eliviated some warping do to it being more strutually sound.

I think there is one company in town that work with bulk mat and resin, I talked to them a few years back they said they would supply the mat, But I can't remember the name. I'll have to do some digging to find out who.

OK I understand now, so the boster box is a more appropriate unit to use for a mid engine app. I just thought that the 650 would be a good unit to work with being it could handle more tork, providing some mods are made internaly witch no one was done yet.

I was told they where a little less than 15 lbs. a peace, you don't find them a little heavey.

hey frank, I was looking at pic of your rear uprights on the first page on you build logs and noticed that your uprights look remarkably similar to the ones on a pantera. are they the same.

I got the previous pic from the getrag site, I thought this one was from the boxter, its only rated at 380 nm. and I thought the 6mtl650 was for the quatro AWD. The pic below is the 6mtl380.

I'm used to carbs on snowmachines, but very much the same principle as the throttle bodies. We used to mesure the throat of the carbs on the engine side to find out the size.

This transaxle have been discusted before but can it be modified to be used in a mid-engine application by blocking of the rear output shaft.

interesting site, I was thinking snowmobile throttle bodies off a fuel injection engine, Most of them run duels or tripples, depending on the application. I'll do more recherch to see what size most snowmobile makers use. If there's nothing suitable maybe 4 stroke bikes.

Has anyone attempted to build an 8 stack fuel injection system before. I did a search on this forum and not much came up, just one post a while back on a guy using toyota throttle bodys. But now I can't find it. Has anyone seen this done on other forums or know someone who has done this. I even...
