Audi 012 to Porsche 930 CV Adapter Drawing and question.

Hi all, just an update to running these type2/4 to 930 CV adapters. They are working flawlessly in a few hybrids we've built and I am machining some more as per tech drawing using 1045 steel. Just PM if interested in a pair.

    Ya gotta see this.

Your life depends on an actuator valve in the steering stabilizer....now that's scary.

    RF Audi transaxle

Sorry for the resurrection (sp). But I searched the forum here and am trying to find out if the 3U, 3T, or 3Q 5th gear sets can be swapped into the 944 box. I am finished with my swap and I have beat the piss out of the 944 NA box with 3.89 R&P. I launch beautifully in 2nd gear and haven't broke...

    Aisin Transaxle

I'll have less than 2 grand with an brand new shorter all alloy torque tube when I set it up like the 2nd pic and the fact that when I convert a 928 auto to this same set-up, all I will need is a 1" adapter between the 5 speed and C5 differential. I was figuring that doing the setup with the C5...

    Okie not from Muskogee

No, I put a 5.3l chevy in the 944. Now I am looking at mating a Corvette C5 3.15 differential to a Toyota Supra r154 that is about indestructable. I can put in a Porsche 928 transaxle, but those are in the clunky shifter category and the boxes are not as strong as the newer 5 speeds.

Hello all, newbie here from Oklahoma. I joined after many times/views about different threads here on transaxles. I am learning more and more about the different set-up you guys are using on these cars. I have a 5.3l V8 Porsche 944 and will be building a custom transaxle for a mid engine car for...
