18" plus wheels

Judging by the size of the 17" BRM's etc in the arches of a GT40, i'd say that 18" would be overkill..

Steph,
We use 18" front & rear, not a perticularily "original" look but when it comes to race rubber there is no real alternative.

We are using 270 x 650 x 18 front & 310 x 710 x 18 on the rears

How about some 22" wheels with some of those spinner thingies, and how about some of those classy blue lights everywhere!:stunned:

what about running 18's but keeping the same dia. tire as the 17's just running lower sidewall.

18 would be fine if your on track all he time... but for road, i'd stick to 17's they will give a nicer ride.

Especially on some roads... if it's anything like B.C where you are!!

You could put whatever you like on the car.... but it's a personal choice, i just think 18's look too big in the arches, and i know how harsh the rde can be with them and 35mm-40mm sidewall.
