Hi all -
the 2005 AGM will be held at Andrew and Maria Fordyce's residence Nr Alton Hampshire on Sunday October 9th.
As usual there will be a Marquee and BBQ available, so come along and join in the fun. Hot/cold/soft drinks will be provided, together with the usual side dishes for a salad buffet. Feel free to bring any meats you wish to cook and some sausages will be provided also.
We have a lot to discuss this year including some important developments re the club magazine, so please make all efforts to attend. Their property has ample parking available for both show cars (40s) and other vehicles/trailors, so even if it's not running, bring it along for others to see.
This year the Brian Pepper Memorial Trophy is to be awarded for the best turned out car in the eyes of the judge, hopefully Frank Catt of Wealden Engineering Ltd - whose knowledge/experience of all versions of the GT40 will ably qualify him for the job.
We will be mailing details over the next few days also, but to make things easier in calculating how much food to provide, please let us know beforehand if you are able to attend or not and the expected size of your party (including guests).
This can be done to either the club answerphone on 0871 242 0222 or by emailing [email protected]
Thanks again - and I look forward to seing as many of you there as possible. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
