I'm looking for some 12 point, flanged head nuts with an M11 x 1.0 thread. Yes, I know it's a weird thread size; what can I say, it's a Ferrari......
The standard Ferrari nuts are regular hex heads, and I can get these, but would prefer 12 point heads if possible.
One tech from ARP told me they don't make any M11 nuts at all - if they have a demand for M11 head stud sets, they thread the bottom of the stud M11 to fit the block, but the top threads are 7/16, so they can use standard nuts.
I would think that some of the high end race teams would have need of these, so I don't completely buy the above argument. Maybe ARP do make them, but they aren't available to the general public?
What about suggestions for other custom fastener manufacturers?
