Concorde & the SR-71 Blackbird.

The one in the US is a bomber, not a passenger plane. XB-70:

Very impressive airplane, on display at the National Museum of the Air Force.

Yes Pete the Valkyrie was a stunner !

The Concorde in the US I was thinking of was the one at the Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum.
I gather there are another two on display in Virginia & Washington State.

A rather depressing (but realistic) view from someone 'in the trade'.

Concorde will never fly again, says Vulcan restoration expert

Add to this,

BA unlikely to want one flying.
Air France / French Government would not want it to happen.
Passengers unlikely to be allowed by EU aviation regulators, (as per the current situation with DC-3s).
Crew & crew training, how & where?
Its only possible income would be sponsorship & air show fees.
Spares ? you need several of everything, all fit for flight, with Current Design Authority from EVERY original supplier. 99% spares availability is not enough, it's a bugger if you spend £19 million & then find a £100 component is not available. You can't just find a man with a lathe and make a bit for a complex rated aircraft........
The list of problems is endless in reality.

Sorry but I can't see it ever happening.
